Towards zero-carbon development

SPONGE, the networking organisation for sustainability professionals is holding a consultation meeting to discuss the government's proposals for the future of the Building Regulations on Thursday 1 March, upstairs at The Blue Post, Rupert St, London (6.30-8.30pm).

Here’s your chance to tell the “powers that be”:

• whether you think the timetable for delivering zero-carbon development through more stringent Building Regulations is sensible and achievable?  
• whether you agree with the definition of zero carbon?
• and whether there is a case for carbon neutrality (i.e. taking account of offsetting measures)?
