Glasgow-based Integrated Environmental Solutions (IES) Ltd has had a busy Spring - first signing a deal so that users of Autodesk’s Revit platform can access IES’s building performance analysis tool <Virtual Environment>; and second announcing that it has become an approved trainer and examiner for the CIBSE Low Carbon Consultants Register.
The direct link between Autodesk’s Revit building information model and IES’s specialist tool will enable users to run a range of analyses without the need for separate models or software tools. This lets architects and engineers quickly and simply investigate the implications of design decisions, because the combined powers of these two products can take into account the complex inter-relationships of heat, light and airflow.| • | Details of <Virtual Environment> are at www.iesve.com. |
