It’s that time of year again... universities and colleges are in the spotlight, as nervous finalists await their results, and staff gear up for the hectic and highly competitive applications season.
There is now a good choice of under-graduate and post-graduate engineering and architectural courses covering sustainable construction, but with the public ever more aware of energy and environmental issues, people will want to know that the institutions providing these courses are practicing what they preach.
Now they can find out...
The student-led eco-movement People & Planet has launched a Green League Table of all UK universities. The institutions have been assessed against P&P’s “Go Green” aims, using key statistics previously withheld from the public but obtained by P&P under the Freedom of Information Act.
Top of the league were Leeds Met, Plymouth and Hertfordshire! Did your uni or Alma Mater get a First, 2.1, 2.2, Third or Fail?
