RAEng sponsors secondments

The Royal Academy of Engineering is sponsoring an international secondment programme through its Global Research Awards (GRAs). The scheme is open to UK-based applicants from academia or industry, and provides funding for research engineers to conduct projects at centres of excellence overseas.

RAEng has also recently appointed Professor Dennis Loveday as the first RAEng research Chair in Low Carbon Energy Technology at Loughborough University. Prof. Loveday’s work will identify paths and measures to smooth the UK transition to a low-carbon economy, with a particular emphasis in the built environment.
