What do young engineers eat for breakfast?

Get Sust! was delighted to be invited to a breakfast reception at the House of Commons in July, to gather with fellow supporters of the CIBSE Young Engineers’ Network. Around 100 business leaders and academics attended the event, designed to raise the profile of this useful and youthful enterprise.

CIBSE’s YE Network has some important and ambitious goals - including encouraging more young women to enter the profession, and promoting the industry (and its role in sustainability) to school and university students. The group also provides or subsidises conference places for young engineers, and organises networking and careers events.

The answer, by the way, is: smoked salmon and the best scrambled egg we’ve ever tasted. Not a single Shredded Wheat in sight.
