

Two of the six finalists in last week’s Stirling Prize for architecture were refurbishment projects. Although the overall winner was a new build - the Museum of Modern Literature in Marbach am Neckar, Germany - the refurbished Young Vic Theatre and the Dresden Station redevelopment demonstrate that world-class architects can deliver highly successful and innovative refurbishments.
