TRADA, the Timber Research and Development Association, is inviting entries for its 2008 student design prize, worth £1,000 to the winner and £500 for the runner up.
The TRADA award aims to recognise excellence and innovation in the use of timber in construction among university students of both engineering and architecture.
The judges are looking for projects that demonstrate innovative and inspiring applications of timber within any type of structure, including restoration and conservation of existing buildings, private buildings, public buildings or non-building structures such as bridges.
