

The Oxford Institute for Sustainable Development (OISD) and Oxford Brookes University’s School of the Built Environment are organising a one-day conference on the theme: ‘Change to survive: Creating a 21st Century Sustainable Built Environment’.
The event will present the organisers’ latest research on corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability and climate change, and will include discussions on:
* robust metrics for measuring the carbon footprints of buildings and cities
* assessing environmental impact to create a sustainable future
* how new technologies can advance sustainable building design
* designing for an ageing population.
Keynote speakers include Dr Paul McNamara (PRUPIM) and Dr David Vincent (The Carbon Trust) plus academics from Oxford Brookes.
