Zero-carbon buildings — the challenge

The government says “All new homes in England will have to be carbon neutral by 2016” in order to assist in cutting the UK’s CO2 emissions by at least 60% by 2050. But if you’re not quite sure what this will mean in practice, CIRIA and the Energy Saving Trust aim to help.

They are jointly organising a half-day workshop to discuss all aspects of zero carbon building on 9 April.

This event is aimed at planners, clients, contractors, consultants, and engineers.
