Renowned sports architect David Morley - designer of the Indoor School at Lord’s, the Hub in Regent’s Park and Enfield & Haringey Athletics Club - will be talking timber at TRADA’s conference ‘In Touch with Timber: 2012 and beyond’, on 20 May.
Timber has been a traditional material used for sports buildings for many years, but usually on a small scale. Morley will talk about his experience working with timber on sports and residential projects and its potential applications for the 2012 Olympics.
In Touch with Timber, at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in Westminster, brings together suppliers, designers, architects and specifiers.
