Looking for inspiration? Check out a new website set up by Design Research Canada (DRC) (formerly the Canadian Design Research Network) to showcase the research and innovation from twenty institutions across Canada.
Themes range from sustainability and ‘green’ buildings to digital fabrication tools and interactive technologies; and the website will include archived research publications, blogs on design topics, and a research wiki to encourage participation and interaction between design professionals, researchers, and students.
The site will also serve as a hub the Solar Decathlon Canada 2009 - a “university challenge” where two Canadian multi-university teams will compete to designing a solar home.
